Mission Trip to Pothawira in Malawi, Africa

This summer, we have the incredible opportunity to travel to Malawi, Africa, on mission. Our team will be working with Pothawira (Safe Haven), a life-changing ministry founded by a member of our church who was born and raised in Malawi. Her passion for giving back to her community has created a place of hope and transformation for so many.
Pothawira is a thriving community project spanning over 50 acres in Daniel Village, Salima District, about 100 kilometers east of Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe. It is dedicated to meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of the people it serves. Through healthcare, education, and economic sustainability initiatives, Pothawira is equipping individuals to build stronger futures for themselves and their communities.
Since its founding, Pothawira has established and maintains:
-An orphanage providing a safe and loving home for children
-A health clinic and birthing center with a women’s shelter
-A primary school offering education
-Water towers and a maize/rice mill
-A new learning center that will expand education through secondary school
Our team will play a hands-on role in this mission by providing training for teachers, house mamas, and hosting a VBS for children, as well as assisting with maintenance projects around campus.
We would love for you to partner with us prayerfully and financially.
