Car Care Ministry
Raising a family is hard in the best of circumstances. It can be a lot more challenging for single parents. Imagine the disruption when the family’s only car isn’t working as well as it should be. The Car Care Ministry brings together the men, women and students of Faith Bible Church to come alongside single parent families in this critical area. Three times a year, we partner with Christian Brothers Automotive in Panther Creek to serve these families. Men of Faith perform the oil changes, Faith Students wash the cars and Faith Women provide refreshments, fellowship and prayer.
During the oil change our volunteers and Christian Brothers staff inspect the car to identify any existing or emerging safety related issues and often we provide financial assistance towards the repair. Any donations received here will be applied to helping these families keep the family car running safely.
