Come as you are is an event driven from the Great Commission that Jesus gives us in Matthew 28:19-20 as follows:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Here at Texas A&M we feel called to spread the Good News of the Gospel through the platforms that we have been given. Prayerfully, we decided to host an event on campus, with the invitation being for all students to come as they are and encounter our Savior, Jesus Christ. This event will include worship, multiple studnet athlete testimonies, followed by a call to action and prayer, inviting everyone present to devote their lives to walking with Christ. We will have troughs outside for those who feel called to make the public proclamation through baptism, after meeting with a campus or church leader about what that next step means and entails. 

Come as you are can’t happen without your help. To host this event we have to pay for the location, t-shirts, Bibles, event programs, and towels for the baptisms. If you feel called to help financially, this is the place to do it, but at the root we ask for prayer. Prayer for the event leaders and for those attending.
